Charity Auction Item - Sir Paul McCartney signed Fender Guitar!

We are very excited to be able to offer this amazing piece of musical history and an incredibly rare item - a signed, box framed Fender guitar by the one and only - Sir Paul McCartney!

Sir Paul McCartney MBE needs absolutely no introduction as a member of the greatest band of all time - The Beatles.

According to the Guiness Book of World Records, Sir Paul McCartney is the most successful songwriter in the history of popular music.

McCartney gained worldwide fame as a member of The Beatles alongside John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

McCartney and Lennon formed one of the most influential and successful songwriting partnerships and wrote some of the most popular songs in the history of rock music - including "I want to hold your hand", "All my loving", "A hard days night" and the iconic "Yesterday" - this song being the most covered song in history.

After leaving The Beatles he launched a successful solo career and formed the band "Wings". "Wings" 1977 single "Mull of Kintyre" became the first single to sell more than 2 million copies in the UK and remains the UK's top selling non-charity single.

He has 24 Number 1 singles to his credit, and as a songwriter or performer he is responsible for 32 number one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart and has sold 15.5 million albums in the U.S alone. He has to his name 60 gold discs and sales of 100 million singles in the UK.

McCartney has worked on film scores and classical and electronic music, released a large catalogue of songs as a solo artist, and taken part in projects to help international charities. He is an advocate for animal rights, for vegetarianism, and for music education; he is active in campaigns against landmines, seal hunting, and Third World debt.

He is a keen football fan, supporting both Everton and Liverpool football clubs. His company MPL Communications owns the copyrights to more than 3,000 songs, including all of the songs written by Buddy Holly, along with the publishing rights to such musicals as Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line, and Grease.

Opportunity's like this to own a piece of musical history seldom come along, so be the one to own this piece from one of the members of the greatest band of all time.
